All I can say about Test 2 is that the last 10 minutes are a bad quality part of :

from 09:00 to 19:00   Date : 1970-02-01 ??

@ Ian : sure that Elke was never on board listening to this file?

I am pretty sure Eric. She did record programmes with Horst Reiner in Zurich so both can be heard in some programmes. Not 100%, but as I say pretty sure.

These two are not Andy Archer from 28 February 1970.

The first one is another test transmission with Horst Reiner from late January or early February 1970 (again, no clue as to date or time). The second one sounds like it is from the Dutch public radio (or TV) from March 1970. It is a piece about RNI shortly after it started official broadcasts in 1970 and includes interviews with Alan West and Edwin Bollier. Somebody may be able to identify the programme that it comes from.

Michael

Hi Michael

The first one is a well known test-program of nearly 69 minutes and known as follows :

Thanks, Vincent.

This one is also two different programmes. Firstly Mike Ross from 13.21 to 14.08 (with Alan West on news at 14.00). This programme is from the week commencing 14 September 1970, but not from 19 September 1970, which was a Saturday. Mike keeps saying how long you have to get back to work from your lunch break, which implies that it is a weekday, and then says that he will be doing the lunchtime show until Spangles Muldoon returns, probably on Friday. This is probably therefore from the period 14 to 16 September 1970.

Then there is Stephen Ladd from about 11.37 to 12.00. This is also from September 1970, but the only clue as to the date is that "Tears of a clown" is at no. 4, which puts it between 7 and 12 September 1970.

Michael

Seems to be the same in two parts  :

1/ 13h21-13h49 Mike Ross

2/ 13h49-14h-11 Mike Ross with Allan West for the news and Steven Ladd on an another day 11h37-12h00

just as Michael said

Groet, Eric

Thanks, Vincent and Eric

This is definitely from Friday 19 June 1970 - the end of the Andy Archer morning programme, then news read by Bob Mackie and then the first hour of the lunchtime programme with Larry Tremaine. Bob Mackie was only on the Mebo 2 during the election week of 1970 if I remember correctly. He did present programmes, but none of them seem to have been preserved, only news bulletins which he read.
