Thanks very much, BoscoTheMan82! Great start with the Johnny Rivers Episode! Johnny is a great artist and deserves a lot of credit!

When I lived in the Chicago area in the 1983-1985 timeframe I listened to the Dick Clark's Rock, Roll and Remenber almost every Sunday morning on WAUR. Great that you're planning to share these shows here on this forum!

Going to be uploading these as I fix them up and chop out the commercials. First one is up and is the Johnny Rivers Episode.

Thanks!
Also glad with the other episodes, especially Dion!

But why chop out the commercials? Weren't they part of the original broadcast?

In the US (and abroad to e.g. AFN) programs like Dick Clark's Rock, Roll & Remember, but also the American Top 40 (Casey Kasem and others), Live from the Sixties (Real Don Steele) and other programs were, after recording had taken place, distributed on a set of LPs (later CDs) to all the radiostations, that were going to broadcast these programs.

Typically such an LP side had two tracks of 10-15 minutes which allowed the local radiostation to play local commercials every 10-15 minutes, inbetween the program parts. The program itself in many cases also had "global" commercials. In the past I shared two episodes of Dick Clarks, Rock, Roll and Remember at our "neighbours", which included the LP rips and the cue sheets. If you're interested I can send you a PB with the links.

I understand.
I have AT40's in both versions.
For me either the 'clean' master or the local broadcast-version is fine.
