Shouldn't this be 1975 11 13, Michael Lloyd only joined Caroline in July 1975 and never came back after the raid in November 1975. I've noticed that the Dj says it is not Stuart Russell but Simon Barrett.

a year later do you know if this is correct

Two different people. Michael Lloyd did not return to Caroline.

Two different people. Michael Lloyd did not return to Caroline.

According to Pirate Radio Hall of Fame, Michael Lloyd and Jonathan Day both went to Cornell University.

As John, Dale and Scotty already mentioned the year must be 1975. All the recordings you publish today are from the same period.

First mentioned DJ- name is indeed Simon Barrett. I always mixed up the DJ-names Simon Barrett and Stuart Russell. I gave the wrong name to Vincent.

Onbekend (ABC) is Ruud Kegel, mijn oude werkgever bij Radio Continu (B) wiens stem ik herken.

Artiestennaam is hier waarschijnlijk Danny Thomas.

het programma van 9 november zijn edits tussen 9u en 14u Je hoort o.a. Danny Thomas, Lee Alvin, A.J.Beirens en Rob Ronder; ik zie zojuist dat er een aantal collega's dit ook al hadden. Als het internet af en toe uitvalt, dan komen berichten wat later binnen, sorry.

Caroline -op 13 november 1975 kwam Caroline terug in de lucht vanuit de Britse wateren en is de avond voor de overval in het namiddagprogramma van Peter van Dam waarbij oa Simon Barrett en Peter Chicago werden meegenomen door de Britse politie.

I must just say that I wished that I had heard abc Europe because I am sure it would have been essential listening, because even today I am impressed with the level of professionalism. At that point in time as my interest in radio didn’t start until a year later with the 192 service of Caroline.

Michael Lloyd and Jonathan Day were not the same person. Michael Lloyd's real name is Glenn Schiller and he is now a car dealer in Ohio. Jonathan Day's real name was Bruce Hagan and he died in a sailing accident in 1998, as stated on the Pirate Radio Hall of Fame website. cloak_login_or_register
