Ik ben een aantal keren in Montreal - Canada geweest, 1969-1976 op familie bezoek. En heb daar de cassetterecorder veel laten lopen. Er was in die jaren nog geen internet en in 2005 kwam ik in contact met een dj uit Montreal die werkte bij een top40 station daar, CKGM. Hij onderhield een prachtige website met geluidsfragmenten en deed dat ook met een ander top40 station in Montreal CFOX. Hij was op zoek naar airchecks, nou die had ik wel. Ik heb ze hem gegeven en hij heeft ze op z'n websites gebruikt. Neus maar eens rond op de website van dj Marc Denis in Montreal. Beste radio liefhebbers, ik luister heel veel Surinaamse en Antilliaanse radio hier in Amsterdam. Eind 2017 is er een programma geweid aan "Surinaamse Radio Legendes". Heb contact gehad met de baas van Mart Radio en er is heel veel vraag naar alles wat betreft uitzendingen van Suri-Antilliaanse afkomst. Heb gezegd dat ik ze nog nooit tegen ben gekomen hier, maar dat iemand hier wellicht iets heeft. Dus grabbel eens even in jullie harde schijven en help deze mooie zender aub.
