Column Ad Roland: DAB Plus of Min?

Het onderwerp komt regelmatig ter sprake, FM moet uit de lucht. Dat is geen nieuws. Men had vorige eeuw al besloten dat FM uiterlijk in 2015 zou moeten stoppen. Maar toen men ontdekte dat de geplande vervanger DAB om verschillende redenen nog niet in staat bleek FM te vervangen werd het even stil. Ik maakte in 1988 tijdens de eerste testuitzendingen in Duitsland kennis met Digital Audio Broadcasting. Het project DAB stond toen nog in de kinderschoenen en wat er mis kon gaan, ging jarenlang mis.
