Hi 3 hours of Bob Stewart from 1990 these were recorded onto VHS Video tapes originally and this is is the first time i have listened to them in 30 years. There will be some glitches and the tracking goes out. I am using a good VHS recorder to copy them it even has an HDMI socket on it. The issue seems to be with the original recordings. If you listen to the Nigel Roberts recording i will be posting from 1992 the tracking issues seems to have gone so maybe i had a new recorder. Afgelopen week ben ik in Kent en Sussex geweest. Ik maak dan altijd opnames van de radio. Helaas was dit jaar de middengolf bijna leeg, alleen nog Smooth Radio, Absolute Radio een BBC Radio 5 Live. Triest nieuws: exit voor o.a. de bekende DJ Rockin' Ron Sedaille bij W-DRC FM in Hartford Connecticut. De zender is samen met enkele andere zenders overgenomen door een ander bedrijf en men heeft meteen alle DJ's eruit gegooid en het format flink omgegooid. Uitzendingen van W-DRC via 102.9 FM en 1360 AM in Hartford en omgeving. Ron Sedaille heeft 29 jaar voor W-DRC gewerkt, en is van de een op de andere dag ontslagen. Ron heeft veel luisteraars over de hele wereld en zijn programma was ook het meest populair van de hele zender. A reunion of Radio Luxembourg 208 DJs and staff is being organised in the Grand Duchy from 3-5 July 2015. In what the organisers are describing as "what might well be the final reunion", the main event on 4 July will be open to the public ("friends of Radio Luxembourg") - the event is being held in the Big Beer Company in Luxembourg-Clausen. Ik hoor de hele dag een KG station dat hier (Dronten) best goed doorkomt op 9670 Khz. Tussen de middag hoor ik pop muziek en men draaide RNI jingles en ook Man Of Action. Iemand een idee welk station dit is/ Ja de zender staat in Duitsland, zover ben ik al.
